….Group Says Delta State Governor Has Fulfilled His Campaign Promises.

Recently at the event Centre in Asaba, Delta State capital, Delta State Government led by the Executive Governor of the State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa celebrated May 29th, 2022 to mark his 7th Anniversary of his administration in the State titled:”7 Years of Development Beyond Promises”.
In a press statement made available to newsmen in Asaba, Delta State capital yesterday by Comrade Uyero Erarawewho Jnr, Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, and State Coordinator, “Core Delta Youth”, he commended the developmental strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in the past seven years, even as he described his Boss as a Youth friendly Governor.
Recall that on May 29, 2015 Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa was sworn in as the 4 democratically elected Governor of Delta State. He has governed from 2015-2019 as first tenure and 2019-till date on his second tenure to complete his administration for eight years. The 7th Anniversary of his administration was celebrated with achievements in every economic sectors.
Uyero Erarawewho Jr has commended the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on his remarkable progress and numerous achievements in Delta hinting on the Governor’s fulfilment of his campaign promises to the good people of Delta State by maintaining a focused regime and working till the last day of his administration.
According to the Youth leader, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s visible developmental strides in the past seven years of his administration ranges from his resolves in repositioning Delta Economy through Technical Education, health, science and technology development, maintenance of Peace and Security through purposeful peace-building approaches and strengthening of traditional institutions for Good governance in the State.
He also stated some other achievements the Governor has recorded which
included amongst others: The establishment of legacy Delta Agro-industrial park, empowering Youth through YAGEP, STEP, RYSA, Girl Child programs, widows, breaking the barriers of gender inequality, rebirths of Delta media outfits rapid infrastructural development; massive construction of roads, bridges and other sectors of the State economy.
