Ahead of next month May 21st, 2022 Governorship Primary election of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Foremost Governorship Aspirant, and Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro has consulted the State leadership of the Delta PDP to make his aspirations known to the party’s Executive members as he unfolded his citizens’ friendly and people-oriented manifestoes to the leadership during the visit.
Ths media learnt this yesterday as our reporter was one of the media observers that graced the occasion of the consultative visit of Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Delta Deputy Governor and his entourage yesterday being 20th of April, 2022 at the State party Secretariat of Delta State Chapter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Asaba, Delta State capital.
Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro who was adjudged by political analyst, critical stakeholders, leaders of thoughts and civil society leaders as Nigeria’s most loyal Deputy Governor started his speech by commending Delta State PDP leadership led by Barr. Kingsley Esiso for his transparent, responsive, pragmatic leadership style and collective support of other Executive members of the party in the state that has promoted political stability and Internal democracy within the party.
He also thanked the Executive for their support to his Boss, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration as the Executive has created veritable platforms for ths growth and development, while stated that under their leadership that PDP as a party in the state has enjoyed peace and unity in all ramifications as one family.
The foremost Delta Governorship aspirant then made his aspirations to govern Delta known to the state PDP leadership, while he pleaded for votes from party delegates to accomplish the vision and mission of his Manifestos to Deltans.
He promised to build Delta PDP if emerges as the party’s flag-bearer to win election to govern Delta. He added that, “though today is not a speech making day, but it is necessary to visit as this party that made him what he is today”.
H.E., Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro while thanking the state PDP leadership for the opportunity given to him to visit the leadership, then assured the party that he always remain the best man for the job of Delta Governorship seat as he promised to continue in his loyalty to the party, listen to the leadership. He promised not to disappoint the party as he is ready to fulfil his promises to Deltans.
Otuaro’s campaign Manifestoes to Deltans which he reeled out to the state PDP leadership is anchored on consolidation of the legacy of this present administration, Governor Okowa’s stronger Delta agenda mantra to build better for Delta; Industrializing the state, embark on more infrastructural development, provide job opportunities for both Youths and Women and development of all sectors of the state economy.
Responding on behalf of Delta State Chapter of People’s Democratic Party, PDP by the Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, then Commended the Deputy Governor for coming to consult the party leadership ahead of the party’s primary election by next month, May 2022, while he stated that the party will provide a good level playing ground for all the governorship aspirants in the state under the platform of PDP.
Delta PDP Boss commended Otuaro for his humility as a person, his loyalty to the party and his Boss, and his achievements as Delta Deputy Governor and urged him not to relent on his support and service to humanity.
Finally, Delta PDP Chairman, then urged Otuaro to work harder to market himself, Manifestoes and convince the party delegates to vote for him just like other aspirants, that the party will not do the work for any of the Delta Governorship aspirants.
