Abuja 2022 Leadership Summit: GMD Moves Strategically To Reposition Members.

In a bid to equip members to function better in line with current economic realites, the Guild of Medical Directors is organizing a leadership summit in Abuja.

The summit will hold from May 12th to 15th at Ibeto Hotels and Resort, Abuja.

The President of the Guild of Medical Directors, Dr Raymond Abiodun Kuti who unveiled plans for the leadership and business summit said the summit is aimed at repositioning the GMD and ensure it remains a strong partner in the Nigerian health care sector.

‘The event aims to bring Guild members in Nigeria together as we reposition the Guild for more strategic engagements.

He further said that GMD is desirous of stimulating a vibrant and dynamic private sector able to withstand the current economic downturn and still deliver superlative health care.

“There will be didactic training on style, class, business planning, financial strategies, succession planning and even politics.

The GMD needs to be at the table with government and its agencies when critical policy decisions are being made.

This event is to strengthen the footprint of the GMD and ensure viability of private health facilities”.

The summit scheduled to hold in Abuja in May 2022 will provide an opportunity for members to network as well as gain fresh insight through hands on workshops and practical business sessions to take their practice to a new level.

Dr Raymond Kuti urged all owners of private hospitals to endeavor to attend as the summit will show them how to deliver uncompromised quality health care and at the same time, not compromise the health of their business.

Members of the Guild of Medical Directors are the owners of private health facilities and deliver most of the care to Nigerians.

The private health sector is wholly complimentary to the public health sector and comparatively, better equipped, to deliver quality health care.
