Comrade Nnadi Leads Joint Consultative Negotiating Council to Affiliate With International Transport Federation by Francisca Ogar

The joint consultative and negotiating council an umbrella body for aviation unions in Nigeria, says plans are in top gear for an affiliation between the council and the International transport federation,ITF.
Comr. Hector Nnadi , chairman NCSU aviation ministry unit and contestant for the federal council chairmanship position in the forthcoming election disclosed this to our correspondent after he led a delegation of the members of the Joint Consultative and Negotiating Council to the ITF peer review conference in Nairobi , Kenya where he made presentations on the need for the ITF to assist the Unions in the Ministry on capacity building.
According to Nnadi, he also had a meeting with the African Regional Secretary; Comrade Safiyanu Mohammed on the affiliation of the 4 unions in the ministry under the aegis of the JCNC to the ITF.
Speaking during an interview in Nairobi, he stated that aviation ministry Unions will gain much as affiliate Members of the International Transport Federation ( ITF) .He noted that contemporary members are; National Maritime and Aviation Unions but the JCNC will be the first of its kind to be affiliated in view of the leadership capacity of the Council coupled with unprecedented exploits the Council made in the recent past.
Comrade Hector Nnadi(JP) is also scheduled to lead a delegation from aviation unions to the new ITF francophone sub regional office in Abidjan in July for the Young Peer Union conference organized by the ITF. He also has been nominated by the ITF to attend the International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO) general assembly in Montreal, Canada by August/ September 2022.
