
The 3rd Democratically elected President of the African Youth Community International, AYCi, Efe Ekure, has emerged as the gubernatorial candidate of the ADC in Delta State ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
His emergence as the party’s flagbearer follows his victory at the Gubernatorial primary of the Party, which was conducted today, Saturday 4th June 2023 at Asaba, Delta State capital.
A total of 185 delegates were duly accredited to vote in the exercise to elect one of two of the aspirants seeking to clinch the party’s Guber ticket in Delta State. Efe Ekure clinched the ticket to be the Party flagbearer in the Delta State Guber elections following a massive amount of victory at the poll.
According to Ekure, Delta state challenges are deep-seated and require profound sacrifices toward rescuing the state. He swiftly notified the party of his readiness to secure a mass scale of victory at the general elections
After several consultations, political analyses, and permutations, The President of AYCi pitched his tent with the ADC, in his bid to succeed His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa in 2023.
Going forward, He advised his supporters to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and avoid name-calling or personal attacks on other aspirants and candidates.
The common goal, and the final bus stop according to him is the Delta State Government House, Asaba, and to make Delta better, as elections do not need to be confrontational before a winner emerges.
