Prince Joe Chukwu, has been elected for the third time as the Delta State Chairman, African Democratic Congress( ADC) in the just concluded State Congress of the party held on Saturday, 26th February, 2022 in Asaba, Delta State Capital. He promises vibrant representation, and repositioning of the party to win elections in Delta State come 2023.

The media learnt this during party’s State Congress, and declaration of ADC’s Presidential,Senatorial and State House of Assembly aspirants which took place at the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria Complex Main Hall Maryam, Babangida Way, Asaba, Delta State capital.

The Following Delta ADC Executives emerged after a keenly contested election during the State Congress: Delta State Chairman, Hon. Prince Joe Chukwu, State Deputy Chairman, Abraham Osazuwa, Vice Chairman, Delta North, Comrade Uche Okonji, Vice Chairman, Delta South, Peremene Amos Ebi, State Secretary, Prosper Egogo, State Deputy Secretary, Manasia Ujunwa.

Other Executives members to mention but a few are: State Publicity Secretary, Aniogwu Chinedu, State Treasurer, Engr. Okolo Edefan, State Youth Leader, Surv. Oziok Sunday, State Woman Leader, Ella Oby Idigbe, State Legal Adviser, Barr. Uche Chibuogwu, State Financial Secretary, Hon. Yebu Ebi, State Organizing Secretary, Ogbor Ikemefunna, amongst other Executives and 25 LGAs Chairmen of the party in Delta State.

Delta ADC Executives were sworn in by the ADC South-South Chairman, Hon. Festus Igbonoba and witnessed by INEC officials. After taking an oath of office. The Executives promised to represent the party very well in the State to win election come 2023. Hon. Festus Igbonoba and other National officials of ADC tasked the Executive on integrity, transparency and responsibility.

The newly re-elected Chairman of ADC in Delta State, Hon. Prince Joe Chukwu in his acceptance speech thanked all those who graced the occasion- the Presidential Aspirants; Prof Monye Chukwuka, Prof Moughalu Kingsley, Nsaka Joyce Ogochukwu , Ayodele Favour, The Delta North Senatorial Aspirant and Deputy National Chairman, Diaspora Engagement, Hon. Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi,Delta State House of Assembly aspirants, ADC National Leadership led by Ambassador Ralph Okey Nwosu, the South-South Chairman of ADC, Hon. Festus Igbonoba, The National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Ifenla, The strategist Advisor, INEC officials, The newly emerged Executive members in Delta State, party leaders, members, the media, members of the Congress Committee and well wishers.

Prince Joe Chukwu while commending his newly elected Executives passed a vote of confidence on them as he hinted to the media that ADC with the slogan “Arise and Shine” will in 2023 general election shock Nigerians, that ADC will no longer be regarded as third force in Delta State . He stated that, the party is fully prepared, has the Political Structure, well repositioned to win elections come 2023.

While he was optimistic of the structure of the party in the state and his vibrant party Executives, He assured the members of success in 2023 general elections, and promised to give his best, promote vibrant, effective representation and win election for the party in Delta State.
