….Group Says PDP Governorship Aspirant, Olorogun Esievo Is Qualified To Contest, Focus On Marketing His Manifestos to Deltans.
A formidable Socio-Political group under the aegies of “One Voice Elites Forum” has lambasted the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Delta State Chapter over its unguarded utterances on the purported screening recently conducted by DC-23 Group whose media reports stated that, Delta Central Governorship aspirants were reduced to five in number excluding other aspirants from that same Senatorial District as the group maintained that Olorogun Esievo, a focused Governorship Aspirant from Delta Central is hundred percent qualified to contest Delta 2023 Guber.
The group led by its National Coordinator, Comrade Paul Chidi Ejechi after an enlarged meeting in Asaba, Delta State capital today being 6th January, 2022 and attended by all the Coordinators in the three Senatorial Districts of the State, 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State, condemned the endorsement of DC-23 over illegal conducts, an Unholy screening that does not respect any tenets of fundamental human rights of seasoned a technocrat, tested political leader, and outstanding Professional, highly Distinguished Deltan; who is adjudged to be the most qualified to add value to the lives of Deltans.
The leadership faulted and termed the publications as sponsored to overheat the polity, incite hatred among Political heavyweights in Delta Central, a malicious attempt to blackmail and endorse unholy disqualification of qualified aspirants from the zone, and pure handiwork of Political Jobbers as Delta CUPP’s unguarded utterances in paragraphs 6, Page 20 of Vanguard Newspaper of Thursday, 16th December, 2021 receives everlasting puncture from One Voice Elites Forum.
Delta CUPP in that Publication stated: “It appears that aspirants from Ethiope East/Ethiope West Federal Constituency carefully and deliberately excluded themselves for the obvious reasons that their son James Ibori had been Governor From 1999-2007”. Delta CUPP was also hammered on the head for haven been sponsored to promote political endorsement of DC-23 Group’s purported unholy Screening as seen in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 of the said babyish, armature, uncultured, uncivilized Publication.
The Ndokwa born activist urged CUPP to retrace their foot steps as their intents and motives in the publications had proven that they lack the needed Political experience to advice and give best judgement in situation analysis. Cases of aspirants, Political leaders who contested elections from the same zone abound. Former Nigeria’s President Olusegun Obssanjo, Bola Tinubu, Osibanjo, and other Nigerian leaders contested with others from the same Local Government, states, and Geo-political zones.
The group noted that Esievo is widely and generally accepted by Deltans owing to his pedegree and unequalled experience in leadership. Also he is the incoming Governor ordained by God to defeat the Goliaths, and the only Governorship aspirant from Former Ibori’s Federal Constituency is nobody but, Olorogun Abel Esievo. He hails from Agbon Clan- Ekpan-Ovu in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State. Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo, The Omamehwen (Good heart) of Agbon Kingdom is an accomplished Deltan who has excelled in public service and contributed positively to the society at large. He had served Delta State meritoriously for 31 years and built enduring relationships.
Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo is an accomplished Scholar; trained in Harvard and Wharton Universities. He is also an Allumnus of University of Benin. He is a former Auditor General Local Government in Delta State from (2015-2021), Chairman, Conference of Auditors of Nigeria (2018-2020) and many more intimidating profiles. He has received many awards for humanitarian services and support to communities, Youths, Women and society at large.
The Leadership therefore enjoined Delta Central People, Deltans to support Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo, while urging him not to give up his ambition to Govern Delta State come next year 2023. One Voice Elites Forum also unvailed the Political experience, pedigree, and years Leadership. The group stated that Deltans are aware of the openness, sincerity of Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo’s Political Manifestos as PDP Governorship aspirant in Delta, there will give him the support he needed to govern Delta.
The Leadership lauded Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo for his vision towards promoting massive Industrialization with multiplier effect on the state economy, Youth Empowerment, Improved Security, Socio-economic development, Peace and conflict management, Vibrant and viable Local Government Administration, establishment and vitalization of industries, employment opportunities, Women empowerment, focus on pensioners and elderly, grassroots development, Public Private Partnership, PPP, Health and Social Security, Road Construction and Consolidation, Urban Renewal, Fiscal discipline, Driving non-oil revenue sector, Educational restoration, and so many others to mention but a few.
The leadership noted that for the fact that the group respects only refined Political party Chairmen, but not that of CUPP who it described as a one man Political Jobber without track records of political structures in the state. Also noted that DC-23 as a group cannot determine the fate of a good man, God ordained Leader, very reliable and humble Deltan like Olorogun Abel Oghenevo Esievo.
Dissatisfied with the manner CUPP has turned themselves to puppets to DC-23 Group stated:” Some Delta Central Governorship aspirants from Ibori’s Federal Constituency were said to have been screened out of the contest in their absence, no consultation of aspirants, and without their consent”. “One Voice Elites Forum” therefore used the opportunity to enjoin Deltans, and Delta Central People to jettison the poor judgement, baseless, watery, and bias Political comments of “Political Jobbers” called “Delta CUPP”.
