The National Chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC) Nigeria, Ambassador Dr Raph Okey Nwosu has described Hon. Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi, Immediate Past NIDOE President, Nigerians in Diaspora, Continental Europe, and Deputy National Chairman, ADC-Diaspora Engagement as a man with exceptional leadership style of doing and taking effective actions, that is, “action speaks louder than words”.
Ambassador Dr. Okey Nwosu made this disclosure yesterday at Akwukwu-Igbo town hall Oshimili North LGA Delta State as Delta State ADC leadership welcomes one of the Illustrious son of Anioma Nation, Delta State, Hon. Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi in his home town to celebrate his new appointment as the Deputy National Chairman ADC-Diaspora Engagement.
Hon. Gbandi, a German based development consultant was welcomed by the leadership of Delta ADC, Deltans in his home town at Akwukwu-Igbo, the Headquarters of Oshimili North LGA Delta State. With his appointment, he is automatically the Continental leaders of the party in the Diaspora (ADC-DN) to support the National Chairman of ADC towards creating a grassroots Organization which the party stands since its first formation since 2005, renaming and consequent registration, and recognition as one of 18 political parties in Nigeria and as the third largest political parties in Nigeria.
Akwukwu-Igbo as a Community is the pride of Anioma Nation in terms of its cultural renaissance. Prior to the occasion, Gbandi paid an advocacy visit to HRM, Obi Dr David Azuka, the Obi of Akwukwu-Igbo Town, Oshimili North LGA, Delta State and Chief IK Iwegbu, the PG of Akwukwu Igbo ADU to announce his new appointment to the Monarch and seek his blessings before resumption even as the Monarch commended the gesture and blessed him.

Prince Joe Chukwu, State Woman Leader, Ella Obi, State Secretary, Pastor Prosper, State, State Vice Chairman, Delta North, Surv. Ozioko Sunday, Financial Secretary, Napoleon Eyebu, ADC Chairman Udu LGA, Peter Powpow, ADC IKa South LGA Chairman, Engr Austine Okolie, ADC Ughelli South LGA Chairman, Prince Johnson, ADC Oshimili North LGA Chairman, Angela Ajeh, different invited media Organizations were present, Akwukwu-Igbo Youths, Women, Deltans and over 500 decampees of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA to ADC in Oshimili North LGA, Delta State.
The State Chairman, African Democratic Party ADC Delta State Chairman, Hon. Prince Joe Chukwu while describing Hon. Gbandi in that occassion as a grassroots political leader commended the ADC Deputy National Chairman, Diaspora Engagement, his technical, general Support and additional values to the party not only at the grassroots, in the state but also nationally and Internationally. He restates commitment on fairness, equity, justice, love and oneness to the new decampees led by the APGA former Chairman, Mr Joe. He assured them of ADC’s plans to win big in 2023 and remains formidable in Nigeria’s political affairs.
The Leader of the APGA decampees to ADC in Delta State, Mr Joe assured Delta ADC Leadership of their determination to work for the victory of the party in Delta in any elections, while Hon. Gbandi, a Youth advocate, development expert who is currently Supporting Delta Youths’ on free training for Youths Business Development assured then of his Support towards the fulfilment of ADC party’s stands in total inclusion for gender balancing, diaspora engagement, Youths development, Support for the people with disabilities, and vulnerable persons in the affairs of the party , State and governance.
The occasion which was a carnival-like event saw Delta ADC leaders, Party Chieftains, Stakeholders, Akwukwu-lgbo People, Oshimili North LGA People Deltans pouring encomiums to Hon. Gbandi, UNICAL graduate of Geography and Regional planning, CEO AGIC-Germany, one time Legislator in Germany, leader of over 6 Million Nigerians in Continental Europe, one of the leaders of Nigerians in Diaspora, a media guru, security expert and development Activist for his political virtues as he is always interested in developing the people and not contesting election in Nigeria.
Gbandi while commending the National Chairman of ADC Ambassador Dr Okey Nwosu thanked Deltans and Nigerians Stated that, “in the history of Nigerian politics, no political party has reserved key positions for Nigerian Diaspora”. He commended the appointment of Nigerians Abroad by ADC into highest decision making organs of the party as the first of its kind in the political history of the nation even as he pledges more Commitment to the party as he is set to resume duty this Month at Nigeria’s Federal capital territory, FCT, Abuja.
In the words of Ambassador Dr Okey Nwosu while describing Hon. Gbandi: ” A new Nigeria is possible with Gbandi’s Exemplary leadership.
